Sukhna Lake is one of the most picturesque man made lakes in India. Nestling on the foot of Shivalik ranges, the beauty of this 3 sq km lake is unmatched. Created in the 1958, Sukhna Lake is an idyllic place for a quiet family vacation. Here you can indulge in activities like boating, yachting and water skiing. The lake has been recognized as Wetland of importance as it attracts numerous bird species from as far as Siberia.

Covering an area of nearly 30 Acres, Rose Garden in Chandigarh is Asia's biggest Rose Garden. Named Zakir Gulab Bagh after the the name of former Indian President Zakir Hussain, the garden was established in the 1967.

Located in Sector 23, International Dolls Museum is one of the best museums of our country. It houses splendid dolls and puppets gathered from all over the world. Here, one can find about 250 different kinds of dolls collected from a number of countries like Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Russia and Korea etc. An added attraction for children is the toy train.
